The position of the organization is to educate and preserve the Melungeon Heritage and work to bring all of these racially diverse people together in a global capacity, as one that will contribute to the overall appreciation of the genetic makeup that is Melungeon. It is our passion to assist families in tracing and embracing their heritage with this beautiful story that has evolved in our American History and throughout the world.
As an organization, we are working on projects and collaborating with other organizations such as Universities, Historical Societies, etc. to provide educational tours and exposure to historical content and sites that are prevalent in the Melungeon history and communities.
