The purpose of the Melungeon Heritage Research Group Educational Tours is to promote and educate on the history of Melungeon Heritage starting from Colonial Virginia and beyond. We will visit historical sites, Native American settlements, European settlements, Free People of Color settlements, and slave plantations. The tour will consist of heritage tours, exhibits, reenactments, expert speakers, powwows (if available), and more.
